Car ploughs into pedestrians in East London

A car crashed into a pedestrian in east London, injuring at least five people, without specifying the cause of the accident.

According to the Daily Mail, the incident happened in the Stamford Hill area, with the emergency services rushing to the spot.

According to photos posted on social media, it seems that a car has fallen on a tree, after first crossing the sidewalk and hitting pedestrians who were on the spot.

A spokesman for the local police commented that all possibilities are being considered, however – as he said – so far the incident is not treated as terrorist and no arrests have been made.
