Bansky: The thieves of his work “The Girl with the Balloon” were released.

One of the most famous works of British artist Banksy, the “Girl with Balloon”, was found a week after his theft. That image shows a girl holding a red balloon in the shape of a heart. The work had disappeared from a London art hall. According to the authorities, it is the only work stolen from the gallery on 8 September, where it will be returned.

Charges were filed against two men, as announced on Friday, September 13 by the police. Against the two men, aged 47 and 53, yesterday charges of burglary were filed. They have already appeared before a court where it was decided to release them on bail and are due to appear again on October 9.

The “Girl with Balloni” first appeared on the streets of the Shoredic district of London in 2002 with Banksy creating versions of his work in South Bank (South Bank) in London in 2004 and on the Israeli wall on the West Bank in 2005.

Of origin from Bristol, Banksy became known for graffiti outdoors with political issues and his works are now extremely popular and of great value.
